Harville Baptist Church is excited to announce that Mark Lanier will be in concert with us on October 12, 2024 at 11am.

Here is a little info about Mark Lanier:

Bro Mark has long been considered among Gospel Music’s favorite artists. He is also a noted composer and many of his songs are known as gospel classics. Mark started singing at the age of four in his local church in the small community of Central, AL Mark and his brothers, Jeff and Kevin, were in the choir while Mark’s father directed the music and his mother played the piano. He served at several churches as music minister and youth director. Mark has enjoyed an interesting musical career from a cast member and stage manager of Opryland’s “Country Music USA” and “Today’s Country Roads” to his current work as a solo artist. Mark spent five years with the Bibletones, seven years with Perfect Heart, a highly-acclaimed and awarded quartet and the last few years with Poet Voices. While with Poet Voices, the group received a nomination for a Dove Award. Mark is a top five nominee for favorite Baritone seven years in a row. He now feels God has even more for him to do. Mark has always been destined to sing his songs of praise, but even more, to be used by God to touch the hearts of others.
Mark’s songwriting has taken off in the past few years. He’s had songs recorded by artists like: The Whisnants, The Kingsmen, The Nelons, The Florida Boys, Perfect Heart, Down East Boys, The Lesters, James Blackwood, Jake Hess, Poet Voices, Danny Funderburk, Bibletones, Amy Lambert, Jerry Goff, Crossmen, Kingdom Heirs, etc…
Mark has ministered in places like: Scotland, Ireland,
England, Canada, The Bahamas, and has sung on TBN, GMT, TNN, ISPN, The National Quartet Convention, and the Bill Gaither Homecoming. Mark is listed in the “Achievers” at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.

Christmas Concert Friday December 13, 2024 at 7pm. Bro. Keith Plott will be conducting this special concert again for us this year. It’s gonna be great! We will have pizza and refreshments before the concert. Mark this on your calendar and make plans to attend.

Shellem Cline will be back ministering by song at Harville Baptist Church Sunday morning April 27,2025 during the 11am Worship Service. Shellem Cline is a national award-winning Christian Country Artist from North Carolina. Cline grew up singing Southern Gospel music with his family the Gilbert Family, but transitioned to Christian Country after his grandfather came off the road due to illness in 2005. In 2015, Cline began his full time career in the industry and has become a household name as an artist and a songwriter. Bro Shellem was such a blessing to us at Harville that our folks asked the pastor to please see if we could get him scheduled for 2025 and Bro Shellem wanted and was able to do exactly that. What a blessing! Come see and hear for yourself April 27, 2025.
