Pastor John Whitaker is from the swamp lands of Waycross, Ga. He attended Grace Baptist Church and was saved on February 4, 1994. Through the ministry of the church he learned many facets of serving the Lord Jesus Christ. While attending Grace, Bro. Whitaker enrolled and graduated from Gulf Coast Bible Institute in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. and then enrolled and graduated from Andersonville Baptist Seminary with a Masters and Doctorate in Pastoral Theology. Over the years the Lord has used Bro. Whitaker as a Church Planter, Evangelist, Bible Institute Instructor and Pastor. On June 20, 2021 Harville Baptist Church extended the call to Pastor Whitaker to become their pastor. His lovely wife Paula is a converted Roman Catholic. She loves serving others and is an integral part of the ministry especially to the youth and ladies of Harville. The Whitaker’s love people and are busy each service greeting our members and visitors with a warm welcome.
